QCon is an international software development conference designed for team leads, architects, and project management and is organized by the community, for the community.
The founders of QCon – C4Media – approached us to design and code a landing page that will overview briefly the conferences. Due very specific technical and organizational demands each conference has it’s own separate website so the purpose of this landing page is really to provide a central entry point for each conference website.
QCon runs four times a year in London, San Francisco, Tokyo, and Beijing.

The results

We produced the design to behave as a simple landing page, using just plain markup and some JavaScript. The QCon staff was really amazed by the result and so far testing with community produced outstanding reactions.

Rentila is a french based application that intermediate the gap between landlords and tenants, allowing you to manage your properties as a landlord and to pay your monthly rent bills as a tenant. Rentila approached us to design two custom characters to be used on the application homepage and eventually on additional promotional materials.

The results

We produced the requested characters – vectors as they were requested – and not only the Rentila owners were thrilled about the results but their users also instantly loved the look of the mascots. Afterall an image worth one thousand words, isn’t ?

The website was developed by C4Media, which is tracking change and innovation in the enterprise software development community through their InfoQ portal.

The old Esderman platform which we developed and did his job preety well for a good while didn’t offered anymore the flexibility that Esderman needed in order to meet the business needs of the website and business itself.

The solution

We needed to improve first of all the user experience. So we’ve paid a lot of attention to navigation and user flow through the website in order to improve drastically the user experience. Beside this we’ve proposed a new design interface, more simple, intuitive and user friendly.
Beside this we’ve replaced the custom-made platform that we did a few years ago with a magento platform, more flexible and more reliable.

We’ve developed an older version of OPEL GTT’s website back in 2004. The site did well, served his purpose for so many years without the smallest problem. But looking to the internet today we’ve realized that an update in look and feel is required for 2008.

The solution

In conclusion we’ve analyzed what we can improve and how, we researched ways to make real improvements to the site itself through navigation and a better experience for the site visitors but we were looking same time to give the site a special flavor and a look that better suit the internet today. The result is a shiny modern website that also supports a small news platform based on Wordpress.

Lawyer Dediu Ionut Claudiu needed a web presence for his lawyer office in order first to establish an online presence and second to enable a communication interface with his clients.

The solution

We have been asked to output a simple clean design that allows to visitors a sleek process of navigation through the interface and to easily can switch to different sections while browsing at any time. We’ve also focused on having the same navigation and flow through community area.

Back in 2007 we’ve worked with Metromind to develop the website interface for Oltchim the biggest chemicals producer in Romania.

Since 1966 Oltchim has provided chemical products. Their products, either PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), Caustic Soda, Propylene Oxide, Propylene Glycol and Polyether Polyols, Chlorosodics or construction materials, are highly appreciated in more than 80 countries.

Metromind is a Bucharest based web agency with whom we’ve had the pleasure to work with. They are a young and wise team that always strive to provide the best solutions for their customers.
It was the time for a little change. We’ve worked with metromind for a good while and when they decided to change their own site it was a breeze to both sides. We’ve been asked to provide a simple web 2.0 approach and to add a bit of spice to their presence. While metromind was always more than a web agency this was a comfortable task.
