All the research activities sum up in a design vision – how a solution could look and function. That’s why we always need to ask our customers how we should design our product and what their most critical problems are.
In a digital product design process, there are several stages – first as a concept, then as a wireframe, followed by prototyping the interface, and finally releasing the product.
Each step needs to be assessed against the completion of its target user problem and how we are fulfilling that need. It's so easy to fall into a building trap, working on features that could be cool and fun to use, but don't contribute to the product or add value.
It can be challenging work but rewards a great experience for your customers while helping you internally to be intentional about your development efforts.
The best design solution is invisible and modeled around the very scenarios that solve people's problems.
