As we launched the revamped platform, the results were nothing short of spectacular. The company had a steady yearly growth around €1 million/year. What began as a platform switch, blossomed into a thriving property achieving close to €5 million. But the numbers only tell half the story.
Our new platform became a place where customers felt understood and valued. The intuitive design and seamless user interface reduced friction points, significantly enhancing user engagement and satisfaction. Conversion rates climbed as customers navigated our user-friendly site, finding what they needed with ease and pleasure.
I teamed up with a highly skilled Digital Transformation Strategist and an enthusiastic group of stakeholders.
Together, we embarked on this transformative journey, equipped with a blend of technical savvy and user-centered design philosophy.
Our plan was to dive deep into the users' needs, leveraging every bit of data and feedback to guide our redesign.
To begin with, we had a ton of data to process. Loads of analytics data.
We also had a ton of actual customer interactions with our property to watch.
And so we could identify significant drop-offs, friction points, and potential non-optimized interactions our shoppers were experiencing.
Factoring in expert support in digital transformation and platform input from one of the agencies that were providing us with platform support, the path was clear where to push change and where we need to ensure less to no friction for buyers.
Once our research was heading towards a closing, we wanted to sketch some quick wireframes to test our assumptions and experience what our customers were experiencing.
As soon as we run some testing on those wireframes, we concluded that we are ready to grow the wireframes into the fully fledged experience that our customers will end up seing
